DIGITAL ASSET RISK DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
Version 2.0
Effective Date: ___________
1. PURPOSE OF THIS DISCLOSURE
This Digital Asset Risk Disclosure Statement ("Disclosure") explains the risks associated with purchasing, holding, transferring, converting, or interacting with cryptocurrency and blockchain-based assets through Payment Solutions And Services International ("PSI").
By using PSI digital asset services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the risks described in this Disclosure.
Digital assets involve unique risks that differ significantly from traditional financial products.
Digital asset services are available only in approved territories and only for products activated by PSI and its relevant partners. Additional product-specific or territory-specific disclosures, terms and partner notices may apply and shall supplement this Disclosure.
2. DIGITAL ASSET SERVICES
PSI may provide technology-enabled access to supported digital assets including:
Stablecoins;
Cryptocurrencies;
Blockchain-based assets;
Digital asset conversion services.
Supported assets may include:
USDT;
USDC;
Bitcoin (BTC);
Ethereum (ETH);
TRON (TRX);
Other assets supported by PSI.
PSI may modify supported assets at any time.
3. NO GUARANTEE OF VALUE
Digital assets are highly volatile.
The value of digital assets may:
Increase significantly;
Decline significantly;
Become unavailable;
Experience limited liquidity.
Past performance does not guarantee future results.
PSI does not guarantee:
Price stability;
Profitability;
Liquidity;
Future market availability.
Customers should only purchase digital assets they understand and can afford to lose.
4. MARKET VOLATILITY RISK
Digital asset prices may change rapidly due to:
Market conditions;
Regulatory announcements;
Technology changes;
Investor sentiment;
Liquidity conditions;
Global economic events.
A customer may experience losses between:
Purchase time;
Conversion time;
Withdrawal time.
PSI is not responsible for market movements.
5. STABLECOIN RISKS
Certain PSI services may involve stablecoins such as USDT or USDC.
Although stablecoins are generally designed to maintain a relationship with a reference currency, risks remain.
These include:
Loss of price stability;
Issuer risk;
Reserve management risk;
Regulatory restrictions;
Liquidity limitations;
Market disruption.
A stablecoin may not always maintain its intended value.
Stablecoins may lose parity, become illiquid, be blacklisted or frozen, encounter reserve impairment, redemption failure, insolvency of the issuer or key intermediary, or become unavailable due to banking, legal or market events.
6. BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY RISKS
Blockchain networks operate independently from PSI.
Risks include:
Network congestion;
Transaction delays;
Increased network fees;
Blockchain failures;
Protocol changes;
Forks;
Security vulnerabilities.
PSI cannot guarantee uninterrupted blockchain availability.
Additional blockchain risks include chain reorganizations, validator or sequencer failure, bridge failures, smart-contract exploits, oracle failures, incompatible protocol upgrades, denial-of-service events, mempool manipulation and errors arising from unsupported networks or wallet configurations.
7. TRANSACTION IRREVERSIBILITY
Digital asset transactions are generally irreversible.
Once a transaction is submitted to a blockchain network:
It may not be cancelled;
It may not be reversed;
It may not be recovered.
Customers are solely responsible for confirming:
Wallet addresses;
Blockchain networks;
Transfer amounts;
Transaction details.
Errors involving wrong networks, wrong wallet addresses, wrong tags or memos, unsupported assets, incompatible protocols or incorrect transaction details may result in permanent loss and may be impossible to reverse, even where the error is immediately identified.
8. WALLET AND PRIVATE KEY RISKS
Digital asset wallets require careful management.
Customers acknowledge:
Wallet credentials must be protected;
Unauthorized access may result in permanent loss;
PSI may not be able to recover transferred assets.
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate account security.
Depending on the service, the user may not control the private keys associated with a wallet, and access may depend on PSI or third-party custodial, omnibus or other infrastructure. A user's rights may therefore be contractual only and may be affected by partner insolvency, operational failure, cyber incidents, legal process, sanctions restrictions, blacklisting or service suspension.
9. CUSTODY AND WALLET STRUCTURE
Depending on the service provided, PSI may utilize:
Custodial wallet arrangements;
Third-party wallet infrastructure;
Integrated liquidity providers;
Blockchain service providers.
Wallet services do not constitute:
Bank accounts;
Deposit accounts;
Insurance products.
Digital assets are not protected by traditional deposit insurance schemes.
Digital assets or wallet entitlements may be pooled or supported through omnibus or third-party arrangements unless PSI expressly states otherwise. In such cases, individual asset segregation may not exist, recovery rights may be limited, and PSI or its providers may determine operational treatment of forks, airdrops, staking outputs, delistings, freezes or similar events.
10. THIRD-PARTY DIGITAL ASSET PROVIDERS
PSI may rely on third-party providers including:
Digital asset liquidity providers;
Blockchain infrastructure providers;
Wallet technology providers;
Compliance monitoring providers.
PSI is not responsible for:
Third-party failures;
Blockchain interruptions;
Provider restrictions;
Asset availability decisions.
Third-party providers may suspend services, refuse settlements, freeze or blacklist assets, delist tokens, impose transfer limits or terminate access with little or no notice, and PSI may be unable to prevent or reverse such actions.
11. REGULATORY RISK
The legal and regulatory treatment of digital assets continues to evolve.
Future changes may affect:
Availability of services;
Supported assets;
Transaction limits;
Geographic availability;
Customer requirements.
PSI may restrict, suspend, or discontinue services where required.
Changes in law, regulation, sanctions, partner rules or supervisory expectations may require PSI to request additional KYC/KYB information, suspend onboarding, block or delay transactions, impose new limits, freeze assets, terminate support for an asset or discontinue a service entirely.
12. TAX RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers are responsible for determining their own tax obligations.
PSI does not provide:
Tax advice;
Accounting advice;
Investment advice.
Customers should consult qualified professionals regarding tax treatment.
Customers are solely responsible for determining the tax treatment of purchases, sales, conversions, remittances, forks, airdrops, token receipts and any gain or loss event associated with digital assets.
13. FRAUD AND SECURITY RISKS
Digital assets may be targeted by:
Fraudsters;
Cybercriminals;
Phishing attempts;
Account compromise attempts.
Customers should:
Protect credentials;
Use strong authentication;
Verify transaction details;
Avoid sharing account information.
14. COMPLIANCE AND TRANSACTION MONITORING
PSI may monitor digital asset transactions for:
Fraud prevention;
AML compliance;
Sanctions screening;
Regulatory obligations.
PSI may restrict transactions where risk concerns exist.
Compliance reviews, blockchain analytics alerts, source-of-funds concerns, sanctions matches, counterparties' restrictions or banking limitations may delay or prevent delivery, conversion, off-ramping or withdrawal, and any quoted execution price, spread or exchange rate may expire or change before completion unless expressly locked.
15. NO INVESTMENT OR FINANCIAL ADVICE
PSI provides technology and payment services. PSI does not provide:
Investment advice;
Portfolio management;
Financial planning;
Trading recommendations.
Any decision to purchase digital assets is made independently by the customer.
16. NO GUARANTEE OF LIQUIDITY
A customer may not always be able to:
Sell digital assets;
Convert assets;
Transfer assets;
Receive expected settlement timing.
Liquidity depends on:
Market conditions;
Asset availability;
Banking relationships;
Regulatory requirements.
17. REMITTANCE AND OFF-RAMP RISKS
Where PSI provides crypto-to-fiat conversion or remittance services:
Customers acknowledge:
Banking delays may occur;
Compliance reviews may delay transactions;
Exchange rates may change;
Recipient institutions may impose restrictions.
Recipient institutions, correspondent banks, payment processors or liquidity providers may reject, return, delay or re-route transactions, and network fees, slippage, spread movement or compliance-related holds may reduce or delay final proceeds.
18. INACTIVE OR FUTURE TREASURY / LIQUIDITY PRODUCTS
Treasury, liquidity, yield, investment or similar products are not available unless and until PSI launches them under a separate product addendum, jurisdiction-specific disclosure and any legally required partner or regulatory framework.
Such products may include:
Yield opportunities;
Liquidity programs;
Digital asset-based financial products.
No website content constitutes an offer, invitation, solicitation, recommendation or advice in relation to any investment, securities or yield product, and no such product is available unless expressly activated by PSI for the relevant territory and user.
19. INACTIVE TOKENIZATION AND FUTURE DIGITAL ASSET PROGRAMMES
Any tokenization, issuance, real-world asset, securities-related, or similar future digital asset programme is unavailable unless separately launched under specific contractual terms, risk disclosures and legally required approvals.
Tokenization services:
Are not currently activated;
Are subject to regulatory approval;
May not become commercially available.
Nothing on the PSI Platform constitutes an offer of securities, capital markets products or tokenized investment interests except where expressly authorised and accompanied by the governing documents for that product.
